After watching the film “Memento” the most interested part/scene is that whether the main actor’s wife are really murder and rape by someone . Wither it just an imagination created by Leonard Shelby. From Leonard point of viewes he want every audience think that it is true his wife are really murder and rape by someone, however in my opinion it is just Leonard own imagination, it is not true.

Leonard does not want to believe that his wife are already died in an accident, or the truth is that Leonard indirectly killed his own wife, because of his own memory condition. Therefore Leonard try to create his own imagination and assumption in the film that his wife are murder and rape by someone, because if he assume there are some killed his wife. Therefore Leonard does not need to take the responsibility on his wife death, or I should said that the truth Leonard did not want to take the responsibility about his wife death. Leonard cannot accept that his wife is died already, as a result he try to create his own believe or story that he wife was murder and kill by someone. As a result Leonard would find his own reason to stay alive and assume that his wife is being here with him, Leonard would find the reason to kill someone to getting revenge for his wife and make his own story or imagination being continues.

The only things that true in this movie is that Leonard’s wife are die in an accident or diabetes. However Leonard created his own vision of story by imaging that he wife are really murder and rape by someone, as a result he can getting revenge for his wife and also this is the only way that Leonard would find a reason for his life or it is the reason that make himself still being alive.
